The waste buster is designed to process kitchen waste and other biodegradable household waste without fuss or problems. Unlike in plastic wormeries, where they are vulnerable to temperature changes and sweating, the air can circulate freely, avoiding odours. This makes them ideal for keeping inside no need to walk to the compost bin at the bottom of the garden.

Manufactured from top FSC wood and available in four sizes they produce compost. Harvesting the compost is clean and easy and is done on a regular basis. Using the handle at the base, one riddles the compost into the removable container at the bottom. This leaves the worms intact to continue feeding and reproducing naturally. A liquid fertiliser can also be produced from wormeries.

There are educational versions of the Waste Buster available that have a Plexiglas window which allows children to watch the worms eating the waste and producing the compost. These can be used in schools to show children what recycling means and impart the philosophy and its importance at an early age.
